Welcome to Draftify! I'm Brendan, the founder and principal designer behind our innovative designs. Originally from Havelock, Ontario, I discovered my passion for architectural design amidst the cozy cottages and scenic landscapes of my hometown.

Sports have always been a big part of my life, with hockey and golf being my steadfast companions since childhood. From the ice rink to the golf course, these sports taught me valuable lessons in discipline and teamwork—qualities that seamlessly translate into my approach to architectural design.

My love for design traces back to my days spent immersed in the world of LEGO, laying the foundation for my future career as an architectural designer. With a decade of industry experience, I lead Draftify with a commitment to crafting spaces that transcend the ordinary.

Outside of work, you'll find me enjoying quality time with my wife, Shannon, and our adventurous children, Hugh and Jenna. Whether we're exploring the great outdoors or cheering on the Peterborough Petes, every moment together is cherished.

Over a Decade of Experience

Seasoned professionals in architectural design with a diverse experience. Beginning with a decade-long tenure working for an architect, interspersed with periods of hands-on experience in the field building custom homes. All before concentrating full time on residential design in 2020, designing and bringing visions to life.

Our hands-on experience in construction has given us a unique perspective on design, allowing us to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical and buildable. Holding a BCIN (Building Code Identification Number) for Small Buildings, a significant qualification in Ontario, Canada that signifies our recognition as a qualified designer.

HOW WE WORK

Proven Process

Initial Consult

We listen to your ideas and work with you to develop or fine tune your vision. We help you understand what’s possible, enhance the vision with additional ideas, and help you understand the potential roadblocks before you get started.

Design

Further refining the vision we will come up with a preliminary set of plans. From there we will make the adjustments needed in order to finalize the design.

Delivery

Once we have finalized the design, we will develop and finish a detailed set of plans complete with any required updates along the way. Helping get the required permits, and eliminating any potential roadblocks as you go.
